If you're mainly in it for a massive music library and cutting-edge hi-res audio support, you can't go wrong with either Apple Music or Amazon Music. So, on paper, both Apple Music and Amazon Music eke out an edge over Spotify, not just with their overall library size but also the availability of lossless audio quality on their platforms. If you're an Amazon Prime subscriber, note that Amazon Music Prime is the one that's included with your subscription, whereas Amazon Music Unlimited requires an additional subscription (which we get into near the end of this article). ![]() In the future, Spotify HiFi will offer lossless quality (in a yet-unknown encoding format).
